Every day is an opportunity for us to satisfy your child’s appetite with delicious and nutritious meals and snacks, designed with their needs in mind, with a menu planned to broaden their food experiences.

We love to see children’s excitement when presented with a selection of colour, shape, texture, and taste for their mealtimes. It is a privilege to support you in developing their palate!

We support your child to keep healthy and hydrated enabling them to have their drink at hand for when they need one, and working regular drinks breaks into our daily routine too. Preschoolers at Monkey Puzzle Southport ✨

On a site just over the road from our Nursery, our Preschool is where our children begin to prepare for their eventual transition to “big school.”

Within our Preschool room, there are some guided learning areas, such as a construction area, a home corner, a book area, and creative spaces for music and art. To complement these, we provide a range of areas and activities which all serve different purposes. We want to inspire your child’s imagination and role play so they’ll be able to safely explore feelings and friendships, develop problem-solving, and have space available where they can have quiet time and reflection.

Your child`s time in the preschool environment leads them towards starting their school journey, where their first year at school sees them complete their Early Years Foundation Stage journey that began at our nursery. We want to ensure that all of our children are ready for their transition to school and help to make this change as easy as possible ❤️

Tweenies and Toddlers at Monkey Puzzle Southport ✨

In our nursery, we have 3 spaces dedicated individually to Tweenies, Toddlers and Rising 3`s.

The Tweenies zone is for children 1-2 years with the day structured around their changing interests. There are various dedicated areas in the Tweenies zone offering different activities, as well as a sand and water play area, a construction area to develop coordination and a messy play area for painting and generally getting messy. 🎨

The Toddler zone also benefits from a number of dedicated areas, as in Tweenies, but is also equipped with brightly decorated children`s toilets, encouraging independence. The garden is fully equipped with an impact absorbing surface and lots of outside equipment designed to encourage coordination and balance. 🍃

Our Riding 3s space is fully equipped to suit your growing children’s needs. As they continue to gain independence and their interest in the world around the builds, our space helps them develop.

Babies at Monkey Puzzle Southport ✨

Babies can join us at our nursery from 3 months old.

Your little one will spend their time in a room which has been designed to be large and bright for them to crawl, roll, shuffle toddle and explore.

There is a dedicated sensory area with equipment to stimulate the babies senses along with a range of toys encouraging the children’s further development in all areas.

Your child’s key person will take care of all your child’s personal needs whenever possible reinforcing the primary areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage focusing on “Positive Relationships” building a bond between your child and key person, which continues during your child’s time at Monkey Puzzle.

We are thrilled to announce that Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Southport is now OPEN under new ownership.

By working closely with Ofsted over the last few weeks, we can now confirm the reopening of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Southport, with the nursery registration now directly under Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries Ltd.

Ofsted have been incredibly supportive in making this possible as we all recognise the importance of the nursery to the Southport community.

Our amazing staff team are looking forward to welcoming children into the nursery from today onwards with our commitment to excellence in early years education.
